On Wednesday, the moroccan Agency for renewable energies has announced that the first phase of the central Noor Midelt 1 was won by the consortium including the electrician habs to the group of Abu Dhabi, Masdar and the developer of the moroccan renewable energy Green of Africa. Noor Midelt 1, the work should start at the end of the year 2019 for commissioning in 2022. The total amount of the investment is estimated at 700 million euros. EDF, via its subsidiary EDF Renewable, will be the reference shareholder, with a stake of 35 %. In the margin of this folder, EDF is already working with Masdar on various projects.
