job creation remained strong in the first quarter. According to the latest figures from the Insee, 93.800 positions were created between January and march. This is the highest level since the fourth quarter of 2017. This number, up 0.4%, marks an acceleration compared to the last quarter of the year 2018 where the Insee recorded 69.800 new jobs (+0.3 percent).
