One hurt in Parramore drive-by shooting

Orlando police are investigating after one person was hurt in a drive-by shooting in the Parramore neighborhood Tuesday evening.

About 6:30 p.m., someone in a vehicle shot at a person in the 400 block of Jernigan Avenue, near South Street, Orlando Police Department Lt. Thomas Woodhall said.

A bullet struck the person’s foot, causing non-life-threatening injuries, Woodhall said. The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators do not know whether there were passengers in the vehicle.

Police did not have any suspects as of 7:30 p.m.
