The 2017 Oscars ceremony and red carpet air Sunday, Feb. 26, on ABC-TV.

The network will begin following stars arriving on the red carpet outside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood at 4 p.m. Pacific time (7 p.m. Eastern).

The 89th Academy Awards ceremony hosted by ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel begins at 5:30 p.m. Pacific time (8:30 p.m. Eastern). The show will be televised in more than 225 countries and territories, according to the Motion Picture Academy.

For those with cable or satellite service in select cities that include L.A., New York and Chicago, the telecast will be available online at //abc.go.com/watch-live and the ABC.com app.

For extra Oscars coverage, the Academy is offering what it calls “The official second-screen celebration to the Academy Awards,” dubbed “The Oscars: All Access,” beginning at 4 p.m. Pacific time at //oscar.go.com/the-oscars-all-access.

“The Oscars: All Access” features exclusive interviews and more than 20 cameras inside and outside the Dolby Theatre capturing nominees, winners and audience reaction, plus additional backstage footage.

The Oscars: All Access will also be available on The Academy’s Facebook Live channel, ABC News Live at //abcnews.go.com and Comcast’s Xfinity digital TV service.

During Sunday’s telecast, all five nominated compositions for Best Original Song will be performed.

“Moana” star Auli’i Cravalho and “Hamilton” creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda will perform “How Far I’ll Go,” from “Moana.”

Sting will perform “The Empty Chair” from “Jim: The James Foley Story.”

Justin Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from “Trolls.”

John Legend will perform both “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars,” from “La La Land.”
