During last ice age, Gulf Stream has fallen 26 times and has jumped again – with dramatic consequences for climate and vegetation in Europe. New findings show causes of temperature jumps and wher scenario could be repeated as a result of global warming. Max Rauner, editor at magazine Time Knowledge, has visited climate researchers in area of lakes and accompanied m on an expedition near Lake Constance.
