The service provider appealed against verdict, and Labour Court in London now rejected it. The US company is expected to appeal again.

One of plaintiffs had said that uber-drivers were "chained to work" because of high costs. There are drivers who slept in car, and those who run 90 hours a week to come home with a credit that matches minimum wage. On or hand, vast majority of drivers argued that ir "freedom" and ir own lord wanted to be. The company would have a free choice and could determine working time and working hours.

Verdict could have implications for more than 100,000 people
