Malcolm Young: AC/DC co-founder died

The brothers Malcolm and Angus founded the Rock AC/DC in 1973. Malcolm was no longer on the last tour.

The band AC/DC has a sad message on ir Facebook page and on ir website on Saturday: Malcolm Young, one of two founding members of band, is dead. He was 64 years old.

Toger with his bror Angus, Malcolm had founded band 1973 in Australia. The guitarist and songwriter was " driving force" behind band, it is said in post.

Malcolm had developed and shaped sound of band. He was considered one of best rhythm guitarists in world.

"As his bror, I find it hard to put into words what he meant for me," writes Angus Young. "Our connection was unique and very special."

Malcolm Young suffered from dementia for several years due to a stroke. He was refore no longer present in tour of previous album. 2014 he had left band at his own request. He died peacefully in his bed, his family at his side, it is said in anor post.
