The world's largest research and development budget (R D) has ceased to be Volkswagen Group, but US company Amazon. This resulted in a study by Strategy , strategic advice of auditing and consulting group PwC, which is presented to German press agency. "A look at this year's top 3 is enough to illustrate supremacy of US digital giants on innovation issues," said chief of Strategy , Peter Gassmann, in Europe.
