Red Alert for planet – this is not working title of a science fiction novel. It is admonition of UN Secretary-General, who said in his new Year's speech: "I call red alert for our world." What a contrast to experienced-will-New Year's Eve message from Chancellor!

    But re is a connection.

António Guterres counted: intensified conflicts, return of fear of nuclear war, climate change, growing inequality, human rights violations, increasing nationalism and xenophobia... So world chief diplomat sees present, his list can be supplemented, especially view of nature, this very finite resource.

Today, two-fifths of country (minus ice) are used in agriculture. In addition, re are cities, factories, highways. Seven billion people move with excavators, ploughing, irrigation systems more sediment than rivers and wind toger. Since 1970, wild animal stocks have decreased by three-fifths. So red alert? Warnings about future of planet should be dosed, because re are still so many consequences. For example, how many times has it been called to "Save Earth"? Strictly speaking, this is nonsense, planet's climate change doesn't matter. And when "The survival of mankind" is summoned? Even in drastic scenarios, representatives of species Homo sapiens can be imagined as survivors, wher in any caves...
