Over the weekend, Beaverton's beloved Hall Street Grill suddenly closed after more than 30 years in business, KOIN reported. 

Employees, patrons and even the bread delivery man, KOIN wrote, arrived at the restaurant Monday morning to find a sign on the door about the closure.

"After almost 25 years Hall Street has closed its doors. Thank you for your patronage through the years. Best, Hall Street Grill," the sign read.

Steve McClain, who owns Hall Street Grill, also runs Oba Restaurant in the Pearl District. There's been no word yet on whether anything will happen to the pan-Latin American restaurant. Come March, Oba will be among the more than 120 Portland restaurants participating in Portland Dining Month.
