Under estimation of Federal constitutional protection, minors returning from war zones in Syria and Iraq could grow into a new generation of militant Islamists. "We see danger that children of jihadists Islamist socialized and are appropriately indoctrinated to return from fighting areas to Germany," warned president of Constitution, Hans-Georg Maaßen. "This could also be used to make a new Dschihadistengeneration."

The protection of Constitution, according to its own particulars, is likely to radicalized older children, especially if y had lived in dominion of extremist militia "Islamic State". The experience of everyday violence in conflict regions in Syria or Iraq would be effective. Three of attacks 2016 of minors

The President of Constitution recalled that three of five attacks in Germany last year were perpetrated by minors – including knife attack of a 15-year-old on a policeman in Hanover and attack of two 16-year-olds on a Prayer room of Sikh in Essen. In addition, a twelve-year-old failed with attempts to carry out a bombing of Christmas market in Ludwigshafen.

According to domestic intelligence, a total of more than 950 Islamists from Germany have travelled towards Syria and Iraq – 20 percent of m are women, five per cent underage. Around one third of Islamists have now returned to Germany. As a result, number of violent Islamists in Germany has risen to 1,870.
