Bears sign safety Chris Prosinski and defensive lineman C.J. Wilson

The Bears re-signed safety Chris Prosinski and agreed to terms with defensive lineman C.J. Wilson.

Prosinski returns for a third season as a core special teamer. He also provides depth at safety, as the Bears look to upgrade the top lines of the depth chart there. He played 82 percent of the Bears' special teams snaps last season and ranked third on the team with seven special teams tackles. He also played 16 percent of the defensive snaps and had 15 tackles, mostly in a reserve role. He started one game.

Wilson, a seven-year veteran, will compete for a roster spot after playing six games last season and totaling one sack and two tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
