The AfD party leader recommends that Desiderius Erasmus Foundation be recognised as a parteinah. A party congress at end of June in Augsburg should make a final decision on this. The AfD had long debated subject within party. Several institutions had refore competed to be recognized by AfD as a party-related foundation, among m Stresemann Foundation, which favored party leader Alexander Gaula.

As DPA news agency reports, citing party circles, decision should be a compromise. The Stresemann Foundation and Desiderius-Erasmus Foundation are refore to be "structurally and humanly brought toger".
