A total of 132 cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in Quebec, according to the acting national director of public health Luc Boileau.

“It is slowly increasing, but we continue to have progress,” he said during a press briefing.
"We have 126 cases in Montreal (...) But it is a mild form of the disease," added Montreal's director of public health, Dr. Mylène Drouin.
In addition, more than 3,000 people received a smallpox vaccine.
