The police operation that was underway near the National Assembly concerning a suspicious vehicle parked in the area is now over.
The field investigation and the checks concerning the car made it possible to conclude that the incident was unfounded, indicates the Police Department of the City of Quebec.
The Quebec police had previously erected a security perimeter.
The incident occurred while a council of ministers was underway at the National Assembly.
