Two passers-by helped a Pasco County deputy pull a driver from a burning car Saturday morning in a rescue captured on video by the deputy's body camera.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call about 4:20 a.m. about a vehicle fire on SR 52 near Kent Grove Dr.

Sheriffs' Cpl. Anthony Petersen arrived to find the front of a crashed vehicle engulfed in flames. With the help of Crystian Martinez and Randy Breighner Petersen was able to pull free driver Anthony Rouch.

Fire Rescue personnel said the driver had minor injuries, likely from the rescue efforts. Alcohol did appear to be a factor in the crash, the Sheriff's Office said.
