Renault incorporates 500 engineers in Valladolid, up to 1,500

The Renault group plans to incorporate 500 engineers in its Valladolid plants (engines and vehicles), thereby increasing its workforce by 50%, to reach 1,500, something that occurs after the arrival of the fourth industrial plan that it has brought with it also a "deep" renovation of its facilities.

This was the case during the visit of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to the Renault Group's R&D center in Valladolid, where he was accompanied by the President of Renault Spain, José Vicente de los Mozos, who announced the "consolidation " of this center after the arrival of the four industrial plan.

Thus, in the act it was recalled that within the new missions assigned to the Valladolid center, the adaptations to EU06 and EU07 standards for Renault vehicles manufactured in Spain such as Captur and Austral, as well as for Dacia models such as Duster and Jogger and the management of the series life of all the vehicles and mechanical components of the Spanish factories.

Likewise, the arrival of the Hybridization Center has made the Renault Group's R&D Center in Valladolid a "reference" in E-TECH hybrid technologies, power electronics, batteries for hybrids, Electricity/Electronics (PIE) platform, development and validation of software and technology linked to connectivity, driver assistance aids (ADAS), hydrogen, e-Fuel and mobility services, among others.
