The German government and the european Commission agreed on a number of crucial points in the negotiations on the rescue of Lufthansa. The airline, the first group of european air transport, would give a few slots at the airports of Frankfurt and Munich, reports the German press agency DPA on the basis of government sources.
According to the economic daily Handelsblatt, the compromise stipulates that the airline waives eight aircraft and 24 time slots associated with it in its two main German airports, Frankfurt and Munich.
