The Oscar Academy has excluded US film producer Harvey Weinstein. This was shared by academy after an emergency meeting of its Executive board in Los Angeles. Actresses, models and or women accuse Weinstein of having raped or sexually harassed her.
It was "disgusting, abominable and contrary to high standards of academy and creative community for which it stands", film academy had already communicated in a statement before meeting. The Academy Awards annually Oscars, which are regarded as highest award of film industry.
After scandal was known, Stein's own film production company The Weinstein Company had dismissed him. The police authorities in New York and London have initiated investigations against Weinstein.
