Lampedusa, an Italian island located in the south of the Boot, is overcrowded with migrants from North Africa, has alerted Saturday, the local mayor, Toto Martello. According to ANSA, there is 1.027 migrants on the small island of about 20 square km, of which 203 from boat rescued last night. Most of them come from Tunisia.
