It's ridiculous how bad I am at painting my nails. There are so many goofs, and so much time goes into cleaning up my mistakes that I end up avoiding the job altogether or paying someone else to do it.
So I tried Pueen Latex Tape Peel Off Cuticle Guard, which acts like a drop cloth for your nails. It comes in a nail polish-like bottle and you brush it on around your nails on those areas you want to keep free of polish.
Now of course, if you're painting-challenged like me, painting around the nail is tricky, too, but still easier than polish.
