The mayor of Antwerp, Bart de Wever, has announced a number of additional measures which will come into force in his city from 25 July. The city of Antwerp decided to limit the gatherings, outside of family circles, to 10 people, with the aim of limiting the spread of the new coronavirus.
The measures concerning the hotel and catering industry are strengthened. Any food establishment that does not respect the measures in force will be closed, even if it is the first offence. Institutions should also maintain a register of their clients, in order to facilitate the tracing.
