The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Belgium amounted to 604 cases per day on average during the period of seven days between the 5th and the 11th of August, which represents an increase of 5 % compared to the period of seven days earlier, according to the latest figures updated Saturday morning by Sciensano. The deaths, however, are, them, still in strong increase (+96 %). Two trends for several days.
The increase in the number of new cases seems to have stabilized since a few days and even somewhat slow, since it was +9 % Friday, compared to the period of seven days previous, to +13 % on Thursday, +12 % on Wednesday, +11 % Tuesday, and +16 % on Monday.
