Two belgian surveys are currently attempting to demonstrate the possibility of improving the state of health of sick persons of the covid-19 in their transfusant from the plasma of people already healed, and therefore has developed anti-bodies. The service of blood to the Red Cross is responsible for collecting the donors concerned, to prepare and participate in the supply of the plasma necessary to the partner hospitals of these two studies, for which reason it launches Monday a call to the people healed.
" If the hoped-for results of these studies support the intake of therapeutic plasma donor cured in the treatment of covid-19, this will significantly contribute to the fight against this disease ", said Dr Ivan of Bouyalsky, managing director of the service of blood to the Red Cross.
