The council of ministers decided on Friday the deployment of four fighter aircraft F-16 and a detachment of support of about 95 belgian military in Jordan within the framework of the operation "Inherent Resolve" (RTI) from the international coalition led by the United States against the group jihadist islamic State (EI), announced by the minister of foreign Affairs and Defence, Philippe Goffin.

This decision follows the adoption by the House, in the night from Thursday to Friday, a resolution in support of the operational commitment of the belgian coalition against Daech (acronym Arabic of the AR).
