The father of President Trump’s son-in-law is working on a deal to buy the Miami Marlins baseball team, according to reports Thursday.
Manhattan real-estate mogul Charles Kushner is part of a group negotiating with current owner and art dealer Jeffrey Loria, according to ESPN and Bloomberg News.
Kushner is the father of Jared Kushner, who’s married to Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, and is a senior adviser to her dad.
Forbes reported earlier in the day that Loria had a “handshake agreement” to sell his ball club for $1.6 billion to a New York City developer.
