About two thirds of employees in Germany went to work last year despite a disease. This is reported by newspaper Welt, citing an unpublished study by German metalworkers (DGB). Among respondents, 67 percent said y had been working at least one day, even though y felt "really sick". Almost one in three said that two Wochenoder had gone to work even longer. For study, 4,800 dependent employees were questioned last year.
"If you are sick, you stay at home, at least for a few days, everything else is unreasonable," SagteInfektionsepidemiologe Udo Buchholz of newspaper's Robert Koch Institute. Especially in first two days of illness, danger is particularly high to infect ors. Besides, you get healthy at home faster. The likelihood of infecting ors, however, is higher at home: because re is closer and more frequent contact.

This is not in interest of employer or Servervmware colleagues: studies show that cost of presentism exceeds ten times employee reported by sick. The US economy alone suffers a loss of productivity of 160 billion dollars a year, revealed a US study in Journal of Occupational AndEnvironmental Medicine.
