The Oregon Ducks will be a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament's West Region, at least that would be the case if the college basketball season were to end today.

The NCAA Tournament selection committee released its early top 16 seeds on Saturday, giving fans an early glimpse into what the committee is thinking a month before the real seedings are released in March.

Oregon, which sits in second place in the Pac-12 with a 21-4 overall record and a 10-2 mark in conference play, is the eighth-ranked team overall and the top team coming out of the Pac-12.

Arizona is a three seed and ninth overall while UCLA, which beat Oregon on Thursday, is a four seed and 15th overall.
