A 4.1-magnitude earthquake was reported near The Geysers geothermal steamfield Monday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 4:57 p.m.
USGS said the quake’s epicenter was less than 2 miles northeast of The Geysers. It said it received 48 shake reports from 20 zip codes, including several Lake County communities, plus locations in Sonoma and Napa counties, as as far away as just south of the Oregon border.
