Born on 20 may 1972 in Toulon, Christophe Dominici is first turned to the football, influenced by his father who was goalkeeper in Colmar and in Hyères. It only turns to the rugby at the age of 17 and made his debut in the Var, first, the RC Valletta in the second division, and then to the RC Toulon, between 1993 and 1997, where he will start his ascent, before moving to Paris and the French Stage. His youth was also marked by several tragedies. The death of his sister, the eldest in a road accident, when he was 14 years old, has several times been mentioned as a dark moment of his career. Born to parents who were gardeners, Nicole and Jean-Marie, Christophe Dominici has been elevated in large part by his sister, Pascale, he had the pain of losing at the age of 14 years in a car accident.
