According to Nigerian military, more than 1,000 people have been liberated from violence of terrorist group Boko Haram. It was mainly women and children, and a military spokesman. They were saved in four villages in state of Borno in norastern Nigeria. The operation also involved an international intervention group, which was founded by Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin to combat Boko Haram, it was said.
On Twitter, military continued to inform that some young men arrested had been forced to become fighters for Boko Haram. The rescued persons would now be treated in a medical institution of army.
Boko Haram is active in Nigeria mainly in norast as well as in neighbouring areas. Since 2009, at least 20,000 people have been killed by attacks and terrorist attackers, about 2.5 million people fled to UN in region before violence. Most recently, 60 people died a week ago by a double stop in town of Mubi.
