Two siblings were killed in a two-vehicle crash in suburban Maywood, police said. 

The crash happened about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday near 9th Avenue and Madison Street. Two people died in the crash, but police did not release additional information about their ages, genders or names. 

Illinois State Police was assisting Maywood police in the investigation.
