Mounir Mahjoubi, the secretary of State for Digital, and Marlène Schiappa, secretary of State for Equality between women and men, today announced their plan of action. He has an arsenal of legislative and non-legislative, including the entire chain of cyber-harassment. The objective is to impose on the social networks to be transparent about their rules of moderation, to better detect hate speech, remove it more quickly, and the fight against impunity. Moreover, the emphasis is on the awareness of the population and on the support for the victims.
