The turnover of 12.342 stores remained stable (+ 0,1%), to eur 6.5 billion, thanks to a return to growth in sales of corrective lenses. This stability hides, however, a disparity between the performance of the signs (+ 0,6%), which represent 47% of the number of stores in France, and that of the independent and mutual (- 1%). "The balance of the year is rather encouraging compared to the pessimism that had prevailed in the sector," says Charlotte Burel, a specialist in optics at Gfk.
