The document highlights that 'the management centre of the Var pays always a thirty agents deprived of employment", and mainly from the communes of La Seyne-sur-Mer and Toulon, or of Cogolin. Not naive about the behavior of these officials, the regional chamber of accounts emphasizes "individual strategies", sometimes particularly bold. One of the officers concerned, administrative assistant, has even been the recipient of his salary for eight years (2009 to 2017), while it was also "manager of a commercial company in the Hautes-Alpes". Finally, the paper puts forward the logic unfazed by these officials at the time of their retirement: "a significant portion [of them] does not request their admission to the pension as soon as obtaining the legal age of departure, but is often the age limit, and remaining time to load, even longer for the centre of management". Why deprive yourself?
