The life of a facility is set at fifteen years, corresponding to the period for which it is financially supported by the public authorities. This does not prevent the wind turbines to operate at the end of this deadline, but the materials wear out, as is noted in willingly anti-wind power. Among them, the Federation for sustainable environment (FED) already envisages the deconstruction of 14.500 units by 2050 - the total number of wind turbines planned in the framework of multi-annual programming of energy (EPP).
