The Lufthansa flight to Germany from Los Angeles had no choice but to stop at O'Hare Airport.

In a statement, the airline said a small fire started in the cabin, but was already extinguished when the aircraft landed on the runway.

Two flight attendants were inconvenienced after inhaling smoke, it was said.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Passengers were then picked up to reach their final destination.
