The Spanish Association of the Digital Economy (Adigital) has elected Susana Voces --general director of the Spanish subsidiary of the Eventim group (which manages the entradas.com portal)-- as the organization's new president, a position in which she will replace Carina Szpilka, as confirmed to Europa Press by sources from the entity.
The appointment of Voces, at the proposal of the board of directors of Adigital, was ratified in the general assembly of the organization that took place on the afternoon of this Wednesday.
The new president of Adigital will combine the position with her positions as an independent director at CaixaBank Payments
Voces has developed her professional career in companies linked to technology, such as Deliveroo, where she ran the restaurant business globally as vice president from London, or eBay, as general manager in Spain and Italy, as well as in other companies such as Ericsson or PayPal. , the latter firm in which he was in charge of business development in Spain and Portugal.
"The association will continue to grow and add value thanks to its history linked to technology and the digital world. At a key moment of transition towards a new economic, productive and social model, Adigital will continue to contribute to making our country a space of leadership" , has valued the general director of Adigital, César Tello, on the appointment of Voices.

The new president of Adigital will take over from Carina Szpilka, who spent six years in the position and will continue her professional career as founder and president of the venture capital manager K Fund and as an independent director of Meliá Hotels International, Grifols and Abanca.
