Air Nostrum indicates that 83% of flights are operating and that all passengers are being relocated

PALMA, 27 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Air Nostrum company has indicated this Monday that 83 percent of its flights are operating and that, in the event of cancellation, especially flights between islands, all passengers are being relocated, according to sources from the airline to Europa Press.

At the moment, according to the data available on the Aena infoflights website, a dozen flights between Mallorca and Menorca and between Mallorca and Ibiza have been canceled throughout this Monday.

The Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla) has started a strike on Monday at Iberia Regional Air Nostrum at all bases and workplaces due to "the company's refusal to meet the legitimate demands of the workers" in the meetings held between the strike committee and the business management on February 22 and 23.

The strike, of an indefinite nature in all bases and workplaces, will take place every Monday and Friday.

The SEPLA delegate at Air Nostrum, Manuel Reyes, has criticized the "protectionism" of the authorities, by setting minimum services of approximately 80 percent, with the intention of increasing them to 90 percent as of Holy Week and facing to summer.

As he added, with these minimal services the problem ends up "entrenching" because companies do not "react".
