The Ottawa Police Service is looking for a suspect in his twenties considered dangerous and potentially armed in connection with an incident that occurred on June 8th.

The Ottawa Police Service is looking for a suspect in his twenties considered dangerous and potentially armed in connection with an incident that occurred on June 8th.

The Ottawa Police Criminal Investigations Unit is therefore asking for the public's help in locating 28-year-old Gatineau resident Cederick Richard-Soares in connection with a case of uttering threats.

According to the authorities, he would have been seen during the weekend in the vicinity of Gatineau.

“If you [see Cederick Richard-Soares], don't go near it, but call 9-1-1 immediately. A warrant has been issued for his arrest,” Ottawa Police said in a statement that the suspect is potentially armed and dangerous.
