The president and CEO of Ericsson Iberia, Andrés Vicente, has been chosen as the new president of the I E Foundation, which brings together various companies focused on attracting investment to Spain.

Vicente will thus lead, together with the Foundation's board of trustees, the enhancement of Spain as a driving force for innovation and large projects, according to a statement.

The manager has been president of the Swedish multinational in Spain since October 2021 and previously worked for 25 years at Vodafone, in which he led the Business Areas for Individuals and Companies.

"It is an honor, as well as a great responsibility, to champion the commitment of the companies that act as ambassadors of Spain before our corporations to attract investments that promote innovation, industry, talent and quality employment", Vicente pointed out. .

The new president of the foundation will replace the president of HP for southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Helena Herrero. She will be accompanied as vice presidents by the president of the Pfizer Foundation in Spain, Sergio Rodríguez, and the president of Alstom Spain, Leopoldo Maestu.
