Applus has sold 100% of K1 Katsastus, its vehicle inspection business in Finland, to the A-Katsastus group, the inspection, testing and certification company announced this Thursday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

The company has explained that this operation is aligned with its asset rotation strategy announced in the strategic plan to focus on improving the quality and mix of its service portfolio.

"This is a good operation for both parties that represents another step forward in the execution of the strategic plan that we announced at the end of last year", stressed Joan Amigó, CEO of the Applus group.

The main service offered by K1 Katsastus, whose income reached 14 million euros last year, is the inspection of light and heavy vehicles.

With 137 employees in a network of 84 centers, it also carries out technical inspections, certificates, registrations and technical inspection after the manufacture or repair of the vehicle for companies.
