Bit2Me allies with Google, Telefónica and Iberdrola to promote the first Web3 Hackathon in Spain

MADRID, 7 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Bit2Me, through its 'online' master's degree Web3MBA, has partnered with Google, KHXpander, Telefónica and Iberdrola, among other companies, to celebrate the first Web3 Hackathon in Spain on March 24, 25 and 26 with a face-to-face version in Star Startups (Valencia) and a virtual one in the Uttopion metaverse.

The cryptocurrency and Web3 company will bring together 80 participants in the city who will be divided into seven teams to solve challenges related to the sector, according to a statement.

Among the fields in which a solution can be developed are traceability, NFTs tokenization, automation and new business models.

The invited companies, among which are also Aedas Homes, KPMG, Imascono, Inveready and Bizum, will select the winning team, which, if interested in starting a business, will have access to the Star Startups incubator, a program valued at 60,000 euros.

Participants who do not win, but are interested in the incubator, will be able to access their selection event (Star Days) preferentially over other entrepreneurs.

"Our value proposition is focused on accelerating the marriage between Web3 and business, generating new use cases and uniting students with incubators and first-rate companies, and for this, this hackathon is a perfect opportunity", the director of Web3MBA, José peris.
