Gun violence is on the rise again on the island of Montreal, when at least one bullet hole was found on the front of a car dealership in Kirkland, in the west of the island.

Police officers from the Montreal City Police Department were alerted to the event around 1:30 a.m. For the moment, no arrests have been made and no victims have come forward, said SPVM spokesperson Gabriella Youakim. No casing was found at the scene.

The scene was protected by a security perimeter to allow investigators and the forensic identification technician to analyze it and understand the circumstances of this shooting.
