Traffic was at a stand still on State Road 528 during rush hour Friday after a bus burst into flames, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver was the only one on board the bus when it caught fire about 4:45 p.m., highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.
He pulled over at mile marker 24, hopped off then bus became fully engulfed, Montes said.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident. No one was injured.
Orange County fire crews responded to help put out the blaze.
Westbound lanes are currently shut down to traffic.
