The first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be broadcast beginning at 9 p.m. from Hofstra University on Long Island.

Schenectady: A free screening of the debate will be at the GE Theatre at Proctors on State Street.

Proctors will host a party with prizes, conversation and a cash bar with red- and blue-themed drinks.

Beginning at 8 p.m., The League of Women Voters of Schenectady County will assist those needing help in getting ready to cast their ballots.

The Schenectady broadcast is sponsored by "Unelectable You: The Second City's Completely Unbiased Political Revue," which arrives at Proctors on Oct. 28.
