Codee, a software development technology company specialized in performance ('performance', in the jargon of the sector), closed this Tuesday a financing round worth 5 million euros led by the Spanish-Israeli fund Swanlaab and to which joined Caixa Capital Risc (investment arm of Criteria Caixa) Unirisco, Armilar Venture Partners, KFund and Xesgalicia.

The Galician company has explained through a press release that this round gives them the possibility of continuing to drive the growth of the organization, including the acceleration of technological development, the hiring of engineering personnel and the expansion of marketing activities.

Swanlaab managing partner Mark Kavelaars said they were impressed by "Codee's vision of empowering developers to be more efficient, and the team's focus on bringing their innovative solution to market."

For his part, Codee CEO Manuel Arenaz noted that Swanlaab brings "solid experience in helping technology companies expand their customer base and scale through a systematic and repeatable process of market prospecting and sales." for B2B markets".

Likewise, he added that he hopes to reinforce the company's positioning in the sector as code assistants to test and improve its overall performance.

The company offers a software development platform that automates the inspection of code specialized in application performance by optimizing performance for the target environment.

In that sense, the Galician 'startup' has claimed that its activity is a benefit for mission and business, critical and urgent industries of the integrated market, such as the automotive sector, medicine, electronics, renewable energies and high performance computing.
