In a written statement sent to the Journal, the Conservative Party of Quebec said it has broken ties with its candidate in Saint-Jérôme, Jessica-Victoria Dubuc.

"She will not be a candidate for us, such remarks are inadmissible and do not represent the values ​​of the Conservative Party of Quebec," explained the party's press secretary, Cédric Lapointe.

“We fired him, and we are currently taking the necessary steps to withdraw his membership card.”

A comment by Jessica-Victoria Dubuc on her personal Facebook page bordered on calling for violence. She suggested that several people should “get shot,” including “Bille Gates and his globalist clique.”

The social worker had also taken several controversial positions in messages published at the same place, on occasion calling COVID a “plandemic” and the Marburg virus a plot to sell vaccines.
