After a jump in the number of new cases of COVID-19 identified last week (1,716 in Wednesday's report and 1,568 on Thursday), Quebec has reported 956 new infections in the past 24 hours among people with access to PCR tests.

Additionally, 484 positive tests were self-reported during the day on Sunday, compared to 579 on Wednesday and 705 on Thursday.

Like every Monday, data on hospitalizations and intensive care in the province are no longer counted on weekends by Public Health. This data will be updated from Tuesday to Saturday.

In addition, 6,347 health network workers are absent due to the virus.
