The 13th edition of the Festive! of Baie-Saint-Paul is a thing of the past. It is possible, however, to relive certain moments and discover the unique atmosphere of this event. The Festive! posted on its Facebook page the performances of the Hôtesses d'Hilaire, the explosive Texas band Frankie and The Witch Fingers, Sarahmée, Les Louanges and the completely surrealist performance of P'tit Belliveau, where the singer and the musicians are in belly and shorts on the floating stage of the Gouffre River.

What better way to enjoy summer than heading to the Laurentians for a day of outdoor humour? Today, the first edition of the Joyeux Mont-Tremblant festival closes there with, in the evening, a gala hosted by Mado Lamotte. The famous drag queen will welcome Martin Vachon, Nadine Massie and Stéphane Poirier, among others, for a free show. Those who wish to prolong their pleasure can end the evening under the sign of satire and parody with the event (paying) Safarir... on the radio, presented in the hall of the village church.

It is the story of Sarah, the aspiring actress who overcomes a heartbreak, of Benoît, the director in search of the story, the heroine and the meaning of his future film, and of Daniel, his poet and lost brother, living somehow with mental health problems. It is also a foray into the life of Nick Carter (of the group the Backstreet Boys, yes!) and the serious problems he had with his brother. All sprinkled with poetry and more stories, including that of this poet who immolated herself and her message: “You have destroyed the beauty of the world! A superb confusion, indeed.
